Who owns PSA International?
PSA International Pte. Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, the Singapore government's investment company. Temasek is owned by the Singapore government's Ministry of Finance. PSA was originally established as the Port of Singapore Authority in 1964, a statutory board. It was corporatized in 1997 and restructured as PSA International in 2003, with ownership transferred to Temasek through the corporatization process.

Is PSA International publicly traded?
No. PSA International is privately held and does not trade on any stock exchange. The company is wholly owned by Temasek Holdings, which is itself owned by the Singapore government. Temasek publishes annual reports that include information about its portfolio companies, but PSA does not file public financial disclosures in the same manner as listed companies.

When was PSA International founded?
PSA was founded on April 1, 1964, as the Port of Singapore Authority, a statutory board replacing the Singapore Harbour Board. It was corporatized on October 1, 1997, as PSA Corporation Ltd. In December 2003, PSA International Pte Ltd was established as the main holding company for the PSA Group. The brand name PSA is no longer an acronym but is retained as the corporate identity.

PSA International handled a record 105 million TEUs in 2025, a 5 per cent increase over 2024. PSA Singapore terminals handled 44.5 million TEUs, while overseas terminals handled 60.4 million TEUs. The company operates over 70 deepsea, rail, and inland terminals across more than 180 locations in 45 countries.

What is PSA International's revenue?
PSA International reported revenue of S$8.3 billion in fiscal year 2025, up 7 per cent from S$7.7 billion in 2024. Net profit was S$1.1 billion, a slight increase from S$1.09 billion in the prior year. The revenue growth was driven by increased throughput and contributions from supply chain acquisitions, while profit growth was constrained by rising operational costs.

Does PSA International operate in India?
Yes. PSA has been present in India for more than 20 years, starting with the Tuticorin Container Terminal in 1998 through PSA Sical Terminals. Subsequent investments include Chennai International Terminals (2007), Kolkata (2014), and Navi Mumbai (2014). In 2021, PSA expanded with investments in Ameya Logistics (Mumbai) and Honeycomb Logistics (Mundra) CFS. PSA Chennai has crossed 13 million TEUs in cumulative throughput.

Who is the CEO of PSA International?
Ong Kim Pong serves as group chief executive officer of PSA International. Peter Voser serves as group chairman. Voser is the former CEO of Royal Dutch Shell. The leadership team manages PSA's global port network from its headquarters at 1 Harbour Drive, PSA Horizons, in Singapore.
