Solstice Advanced Materials Inc.

Independent specialty chemicals and advanced materials company spun off from Honeywell in October 2025, trading on Nasdaq as SOLS, headquartered in Morris Plains, New Jersey.

The business descends from Honeywell's Performance Materials and Technologies segment, which combined process technology licensing with advanced materials manufacturing. In Honeywell's February 2025 separation announcement, the company committed to splitting into three focused businesses.

Solstice Advanced Materials began trading on October 30, 2025, as a standalone public company, taking the advanced materials portion of the former segment. The process technology licensing and automation businesses remained with Honeywell Technologies. The spin-off preceded the June 2026 separation of Honeywell Aerospace, which completed the three-way split.

Solstice's product portfolio is heavily oriented toward environmental regulation-driven markets, including refrigerants designed to replace high-GWP compounds and materials enabling energy-efficient manufacturing. The company reports through its own ESG disclosures following independence.

As a chemical producer, Solstice operates under environmental, health, and safety regulation at its manufacturing sites. The business's historical environmental liabilities, including remediation obligations associated with legacy Honeywell and predecessor facilities, were allocated in the separation agreements disclosed in its SEC filings.
